It's giveaway Day once again and I've decided to give away a $25.00 gift certificate as well as some fabric and patterns.
I've been selling on Etsy for years but have recently opened my own shop. I have 95% of my fabric listed but I only have Modkid Patterns and some Oliver and S patterns listed. I have many many more to list. I would love to know what your favorite items are or if you have any feedback (i.e. did you find a typo or do I have the wrong picture for the product...) In thanks, I am offering a discount code for 10% off until May 31st. Just enter giveawayinmay in the voucher box at the bottom of the shopping cart page.
So, here are the rules: All you need to do to enter is go to my store and look around and then come back here and leave a comment in this post telling me what your favorite fabric or pattern is. If you would like a 2nd entry than go to my Facebook page and "like" me). Then, come back here and leave a 2nd comment saying you're a fan (or that you like me). If you would like a 3rd entry than write about my giveaway on your blog and then come back and leave a third comment telling me you blogged about my giveaway.
I will close this giveaway on the 25th and will then pick 1 random winner who will receive a $25.00 gift certificate towards a purchase in my store. I will pick 2 additional winners who will each receive a "surprise" since I have some items in my store that I would love to give away if someone happens to mention them.

ReplyDeleteAnd one thing that I think is a mistake that I saw is that "Max and Whiskers - Basic Grey Patches" comes up when you search for white fabric...but it doesn't really look white to me.

ReplyDeleteI just love this fabric: Max and Whiskers - Blithe Toby. I have bought a charm pack of Max and Whiskers some weeks ago ... and just cut into some pieces last week ... they are soooo lovely and sweet!
Wow, would love to win this! My fave prints in your shop are the Sugar and Spice. I guess if I had to be more specific, the blue paisley and the blue main are probably my top two faves from teh whole line. :)

ReplyDeleteLike others- I love Sherbet Pips - Puppy Dog Tails in Scooter Grey or the blue. or the max and whiskers stuff with dogs and other animals! We are a dog loving family and my son would absolutely be thrilled to have some shorts made from those fabrics, and a top. Wow. Love your fabrics! :-)

I browsed your store for a bit and the one suggestion I would make is to add images to the page of pattern brand categories- either an image of one of their patterns or the logo of each pattern company. I don't know how complex that is to do, but I think it may male the page look more professional. Hope that is helpful to you!

ReplyDeleteSince you asked for feedback, and I assume you were serious... (and these are teeny tiny things)
The listings aren't consistent with their capitalization. I am not sure if Moda lists each differently, but there are a lot of listings with the "in" before the colorway capitalized. For example, on the Sweetwater page it reads "Sunkissed - Life Defined In Limeade." Other listings don't have that (though I believe the latter would be the correct way). Also, when you click on a sub-menu and the page opens, your path gets lost in the page menus (Home, Shop, Newsletter, etc.).
I LOVE the shop though, and have bookmarked you!
